This contribution makes it possible to add an additional charge based upon the type of payment used. So if a customer uses PayPal to make a payment, then the fee could be applied to that purchase but not one that was paid for with Check or Money Order, for example.

Note that adding a surcharge for some credit cards is not allowed. You should check with your credit card processor before using this contribution.
